We are a café, which means we are casual, not formal like a fine dining restaurant.
Our goal is to provide Clean Food. This means the food is not filled with additives or preservatives, and we make just about all of it in our own kitchen. Clean eating is a deceptively simple concept. Rather than revolving around the idea of ingesting less or more of specific things (for instance, fewer calories or more protein), the idea is about being mindful of the food's pathway between its origin and your plate. The less it is processed, the better it is for you. Clean Food is about whole foods; preparing meals from scratch. Clean Food means your body will digest the food properly and therefore your sensitivities may not show. Sometimes people seem sure what there sensitivities are but, unless their food is clean, they cannot be completely sure. The additives in many foods are often what we become sensitive to, not the food itself. Our food at #5 is packed full of flavour and its job is to fuel you. This does not mean we are fat-free, sugar-free, or carbohydrate-free. This means we are conscious of what types of fats, sugars and carbohydrates we are eating.
